Director Statement:

Our film is full of paradoxes. Kamper doesn’t have an easy life – his life is pretty hard because of its easiness. We wanted to tell a story that deals with a painful subject through humor and irony and to describe the main character as a boyish dreamer in an adult reality. Lost, imperfect – but honest. His escalating frustration leads him straight to the grown-up world where he finally has to face and solve “adult” issues.

Director’s biography:

Born in 1980, he graduated in law from the University of Warsaw. He has won several gold medals in Polish Tennis Championships. For the last ten years he has been making television trailers for blockbusters, arthouse classics and B-class movies which helped him build up his knowledge about movie directing. “Kamper” is his feature debut.
